I graduated from Concordia University in Seward, NE with a degree in Elementary Education and a concentration in Early Childhood Education. I began my career teaching 4 year olds at a private preschool in Kansas City, MO. Two years later I was called to teach preschool at Trinity Lutheran School in Boone, IA. After teaching preschool in Iowa for six years, I was called to be director and lead teacher of Mt. Calvary's Preschool.
When I'm not teaching I enjoy my free time traveling and seeing my family as much as possible.
After the blessing of being home for a number of years raising our family, it is with joy that I have returned back to the classroom to share part of the preschool day with you.
I was born and raised right here in the Twin Cities, loved it so much I have never left! It is here that I met my husband and together we make a home with our son, a cat and a new puppy. We are blessed to be surrounded by our families and many friends. In my free time I enjoy aerobic walking, reading, watching hockey and relaxing with family and friends.
